We know that because they have found armadillos fossils. They are found in Australia and any warm areas all year long. Armadillos are mammal herbivores.

Well I've actually seen an armadillo once when I was in Texas! I probably would have seen more if I had stayed there longer!! I don't think you'd find many armadillos in Maine...but it's fun find them on the internet!
